We love Baptism at SCC! We love hearing stories of what Jesus has done in the lives of those getting dunked. If you're interested in being baptized or just have questions about baptism this class is for you.
The actual baptisms will happen on April 21st.
* A parent/guardian needs to attend the children's baptism class with their child.
** Students will be contacted by Pastor Lee to walk through the baptism process.
Becoming a member at SCC is a big deal. It means that you've gone through Starting Point to see why we do what we do and where we're headed. It means that you've been baptized, publicly professing your relationship with Jesus. And it means that you're committing to live out the following:
- Protecting the Unity of the Church
- Sharing the responsibility of the Church
- Serving in the ministry of the Church
- Supporting the testimony of the Church
We are honored to partner with you from the very beginning of your journey as parents. We want to be a consistent source of encouragement, strength, and resource as you raise your child to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Bringing your kids to church is great…do it…But it’s not enough. Intentional parenting is cooperating with God in the formation of your child’s character, then training and teaching, exhorting, and loving them to Jesus. This is a top priority over careers, personal comfort, and own agendas.
